The 15 minute habit people keep calling a waste of time is the only thing that actually helps me
Everyone I know says writing down three good things before bed is pointless, just a fluffy exercise that does nothing. I tracked it in a notebook for 60 days straight, and by day 40 I started noticing I was sleeping through the night instead of waking up at 3am with my brain spinning about the job site. What they get wrong is thinking the win has to be big to count. My entries are stuff like a homeowner saying thanks, or fixing a sticky gate latch in one try instead of three. The point isn't the size, it's that you have to name it or your brain files the whole day under bad. I know it works because my own log proves it, not because some app told me so. What small thing did you actually write down today?
