TIL my 9 year old is better than me at calling it a day when the job is done
Last Tuesday she asked why I keep going back out to the garage after dinner, and I honestly didn't have a good answer. She goes "but you already finished the thing" like it was the most obvious fact in the world, and that got me thinking about how I used to celebrate a finished job with a walk around the block back in 2015. Does anyone else's kid somehow know when you need to hear the simple version of something?
