Got called out by a farmer on a field service call last spring

I was out near Hastings doing a compression test on a old 7.3 Powerstroke in a feed truck that was smoking white, and the owner watched me like a hawk the whole time. He just pointed at my fuel pressure gauge and said "that reads low but you're not checking the return lines are you?" I had to admit I was skipping a step because it was muddy and cold out. He showed me a cracked return line cap in about 30 seconds, and it made me wonder how many small things do you guys miss when you're in a hurry on a call?

Did he buy you coffee after saving your time?

Throw some gas money his way or something, that's worth a coffee for sure. Cheap price for saving you a whole headache.
