Appreciation post: a stranger at a gallery told me my digital piece looked too 'clean'
I was showing a piece at a small pop-up in Austin last year, and this older guy said, 'It's good, but it looks like it was made by a machine.' He meant it as a bad thing, that it lacked a human touch. I've actually leaned into that super polished style since, but has anyone else gotten that kind of pushback on their work?

People say that about my vector art all the time. Good on you for leaning into your style.

I mean, I actually do digital painting, not vector.

What do you like most about digital painting over vector?
