Just saw a digital mural on a wall in Chicago and I can't decide if it works
I was walking near the Damen stop in Chicago last week and saw a digital projection piece on the side of an old brick building. It was a looping animation of birds flying through a forest, but the brick texture showed through the whole thing and kind of made it look messy. Part of me thinks that's the point, mixing old and new, but another part thinks it just looks like a bad PowerPoint. Anyone else seen this kind of setup and have a strong take on whether the surface should be covered or left raw?
