I finally stopped treating disabled customers like they need a whole speech at my shop
A regular with a service dog pulled me aside in March and said the 5 minute explanation I gave every new client about my shop layout made her feel like a burden. Now I just hand folks a one page sheet with the door widths, the two steps at the back, and where the quiet corner is. If you run a small business, what is the one thing a disabled customer asked you to change that you never would have thought of on your own?
