Vent: my paratransit ride approval took 9 months and 4 denied appeals

Started the paperwork back in January when I moved to Cleveland and it finally got approved this week, but only after my case worker outright told me to "stop calling and just wait." The whole thing hinged on one doctor's note that the board apparently lost twice. Anyone else deal with a piece of disability paperwork that dragged on way longer than it should have?
