My uncle called my pedal board a mess and then handed me a $4 roll of velcro
He was visiting from Cleveland last weekend and saw the pile of zip tied pedals on my board, said nothing at first, then pulled a roll of velcro out of his gig bag. His point was that I keep rewiring the chain every few weeks when I swap the fuzz or the delay, and zip ties make that a 20 minute job instead of 20 seconds. I did the whole board with velcro that night and swapped two pedals in under a minute just to prove him wrong, except he was right. Now I'm wondering what else I've been making harder on myself out of habit, like does anyone here still solder direct to jacks or have you all moved to those little terminal blocks?
