Recalling a 2 week solder bridge hunt on my first fuzz build

Back in 2018 I spent 2 weeks chasing a dead signal in a fuzz circuit I had just wired up. Turns out it was a tiny solder bridge between two pins on the IC socket, hidden under a blob of flux. I checked every trace and component 3 times before I finally saw it with a magnifier. My buddy in Portland joked that my eyesight was the real problem, not the board. Anyone else got a silly fix that took forever to spot?
