Wired my first fuzz pedal backwards for 6 months...

I kept getting this thin, weak tone out of my build and figured the transistors were just cheap. Then last Thursday I finally traced the whole signal path and noticed the input cap was sitting on the wrong side of the gain stage, totally my own layout mistake. Flipped it around in 20 minutes and now it roars like it should have from day one. Anyone else ever stare at their own dumb wiring for months before the light bulb hits?
