Tried using mayo as a screen filler on a whim, and the print held up for 15 washes

I was out of emulsion and had a jar of Hellmann's in the fridge during a heat wave in Phoenix last month, so I smeared it on a 110 mesh screen and let it dry in the sun. It actually blocked the ink fine, but has anyone else messed with food stuff as a resist, or am I just wasting groceries?
