A senior P&ID guy flipped my whole view on redlines in 10 minutes

He watched me mark up a pump suction line with a cloud and just said, "you're drawing the problem, not the fix," then showed me his approach of sketching the modified pipe route right on the print in sharpie. Now I catch myself doing that on every revision and it saves me an hour of back-and-forth with the piping crew on jobs in Tulsa. Anyone else pick up a habit like that from a veteran drafter over a lunch break?
