Our old ISP contract renewal felt like a trap every three years
We used to just sign whatever our provider sent over, but after a 40% price hike in 2022, we started getting quotes from three other carriers six months before our term ended. Now we have a better SLA for the same cost, but I'm curious if anyone else has a specific timeline they follow for starting the renewal process?

Our old contract had a 60 day notice period for leaving.

That 60 day rule could mess with your new job start date. I had a friend in Texas who lost an offer because their old company held them to the full notice period. Check if your state has laws that override long notice terms.
