Tried a new rasp versus my old one on a draft horse this morning

The sharper teeth on the 'Hoof Boss' model took half the time and left a cleaner finish. Anyone else find a tool that made a big difference for heavy breeds?

You lost me at "butter knife on a steak"... wait, was that a real comparison? Because my old rasp honestly did feel like I was trying to carve a roast with a spoon before I got the Hoof Boss. But seriously, @wendy978 called it with the wider jaw nipper thing... I think most people skip that part and just deal with the misery.

Oh sure, let the draft horses have all the fancy new tools. My old rasp is probably jealous hearing about the "Hoof Boss" while it's over here struggling like a butter knife on a steak. Guess I'll be in the barn all day now, feeling personally attacked by this post.

Honestly, switching to a nipper with a wider jaw was a total game changer for me.
