Lounge access seemed silly until my phone died mid-trip

I used to skip them to save a few bucks. Now I get why they exist, but finding no open seats anywhere is just annoying.

Totally, I used to think the same about skipping lounge passes. A dead phone during a long layover changed my whole view on that, it was a real crisis. Now I see them as a game changer for sure.

Last time at DFW, my phone battery was fine but the lounge had no outlets anyway. For me, paying extra never made sense when you can charge up before the flight. Plus, those seats are always taken.
