I keep seeing guys skip the final walk-around on a 320 excavator before shutting down

On my current site in Tacoma, three operators this month just hopped out after the last bucket. I mean, you miss checking the track tension and a loose pin can cost a whole shift. How do you make sure your shutdown routine is solid?

Man, that drives me nuts. I knew a guy who blew a hydraulic line because he missed a worn hose on his walk-around. Shut the whole pad down for half a day. I make it a point to touch the tracks, look for leaks, and check the bucket teeth every single time. It's five minutes now or five hours later, you know?

Honestly, that "last bucket" mindset is everywhere. Tbh people just want to be done and skip the final step that prevents bigger problems later.
