Speaking of awkward, @karen930, I once got my belt loop snagged on a nail. Had to do this weird shuffle and nearly left my pants behind.

Oh man, been there. Got my shoulder stuck once and had to get pulled out by my ankles.

The ankle rescue sounds more awkward than the actual getting stuck.
