Actually that carbonated water trick is way more key for pancakes than waffles. Waffles get their lift from the iron pressing them, but pancakes need all the help they can get. Maybe it's just me but using something like seltzer makes them crazy fluffy, like diner style. Kinda what @white.lisa might need for a legit exciting weekend breakfast. Idk, flat batter just leads to sad, dense pancakes.

Look, rushing a craft project happens to everyone. Sure, the threads got tangled and you wasted paper, but that's how you learn. I mean, it's just a journal, not a HEART surgery.
