Picked a plain text editor over an AI writing assistant for a week
Honestly, every post here seems to push AI to generate drafts, so I tried the opposite. I used Notepad for my weekly firehouse report instead of my usual AI tool that rewrites everything. It took me 40 minutes versus 10, but the phrasing actually sounded like me when I read it back. The AI version always smooths out my bluntness into corporate speak, which I hate. Has anyone else ditched the assistant just to keep their own voice intact?
