Pro tip: ask your barber about AI job boards

Got my hair cut at this small shop in Tacoma last week. The barber, older guy named Ray, started talking about how his son uses AI to scan construction job posts. Said the son lands interviews twice as fast now. It hit me that AI tools aren't just for tech folks anymore. Anyone with a trade skill can use them to find work. Has anyone else seen AI creep into unexpected everyday jobs like that?

That story about Ray’s son is really something, it shows how these tools are becoming part of everyday life for regular working folks. It’s good to hear someone outside the tech world is getting real results from it, not just hype. Makes you wonder what else we’re missing out on that could make things a little easier.
