That airport AI screening demo at SFO felt rushed and sketchy

I was passing through San Francisco last Tuesday and they had a new AI baggage scanner running at terminal 3. It flagged a carry-on with a water bottle 4 times in a row, even after the guy emptied it. They told us it was still in beta but they were using it anyway. Has anyone else seen these trials at other airports or should we be worried?
