Walked into a car repair shop in Austin and saw an AI system diagnosing engine noises live
I was waiting for an oil change at a shop on South Lamar and noticed the mechanic held a tablet up to the hood while the engine was running... it flagged a worn belt by sound alone. How far off is this from replacing the old "listen and guess" method for good?
