Burned the coating off my air fryer basket last night
I was making buffalo cauliflower at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and forgot to flip them halfway. The nonstick coating started peeling off in big flakes and now I'm worried about eating teflon. Should I just replace the basket or is it safe to keep using?

@pats23 totally right, I did the same thing with wings and just bought a new basket, not worth the risk

Oh man that exact thing happened to my buddy Mike. He kept using his basket for like two more months and said the food tasted kinda weird and metallic. I'd just replace it to be safe. Did the cauliflower at least come out good before the coating failed?
