My A&P instructor at Spartan in Tulsa told us to log every torque wrench we touched, and 11 months later I get why
Last week I was doing a flap actuator rig on a 172 and the torque spec card in the hangar called for 40 inch pounds but my wrench felt way too easy to click at that setting. Poked around the calibration log and turns out the shop's 0 to 75 wrench got last checked back in April and it's been bouncing around every plane since. Do you guys keep a personal log of your own tools or just trust whatever the shop says is good.
