Back from an old install site in Dayton, surprised by what stayed

Drove past a house I wired back in 2008 this week, a big Victorian on East Third Street. The owner still had my original keypad on the wall, but they'd added one of those new smart panels right next to it. It hit me how we used to spend an afternoon fishing wires through plaster, and now everything is just wireless and apps. Anyone else get a weird kick out of spotting your old work still hanging around, even if it's obsolete now?
