Pro tip: ran cat6 for a panel swap in an old house in Cleveland and found the last guy stapled through the wire
Pulled 8 runs of cat6 last Tuesday in a 1920s house in Cleveland and every single one had a staple pinching the jacket, so I switched to using my toner probe on every wire before I even strip it and found 3 shorts that would've come back as callbacks, has anyone else started toning before pulling or is that just me being paranoid?
