Drywall mud dry time in November, my Airdrie mistake
I booked a basement refinish for mid November in Airdrie and figured the furnace would keep the drying on schedule. Three coats of mud took six days to set instead of the usual two, and I had to push the painter back twice. The homeowner kept the heat at 16 degrees to save money, and nobody warned me before I started. Has anyone else had to add a minimum temperature clause to their contracts for winter work?
