PSA: picked the 8 inch trowel over the 12 for skim coating and my wrists thanked me
Back when I started finishing in Red Deer around 2011, the old guys all pushed the 12 inch trowel and I just went along with it for years. Switched to an 8 inch for tight wall work last month and my shoulders quit aching after a 10 hour day. Anyone else downsize their finishing tools as they got older, or am I just getting soft?
