Tried a new concrete sealer on a small job in Lethbridge and it dried way faster than the can said

I used ProSeal's 'Quick Cure' on a 200 sq ft patio last week when the forecast said it would be sunny all day. It was fully dry and ready for light foot traffic in about 2 hours, not the 6 they promised, which saved my schedule. Has anyone else had a product work better than advertised, or did I just get lucky with the weather?

Oh man, I had the exact same thing happen with a different brand - Armor All's heavy duty sealant on a driveway in Medicine Hat. I slapped it on a warm afternoon expecting it to take at least 4 hours, but it was touch-dry in under 90 minutes. I think the combo of direct sun and the concrete being bone dry just kicked the curing into overdrive. It held up fine too, no peeling or anything weird after a couple weeks. You probably just hit the perfect window with your weather and surface prep (which is always a gamble, honestly).

Take it easy on yourself, Laura. It's a driveway sealer, not open heart surgery. Throwing a coat on when it's hot and dry and getting a quicker cure isn't exactly a miracle, it's just basic chemistry. I mean, yeah, it can be a pain if it dries too fast and you get lap marks, but if it looks good and holds up after a couple weeks, then you're basically in the clear. Ngl, half the time people overthink this stuff and the product just does its job. @black.laura
