My neighbor saw my half finished garage shelf and asked why I was making it so hard on myself
He said I should just anchor a 2x4 to the wall studs first instead of building a whole frame on the floor, and honestly it saved me like 40 bucks in lumber on a shelf that's holding 300 pounds of paint cans in my garage off Eubank. Anyone else got a trick like that for hanging stuff on block walls?
