Appreciation post: I finally get why people rewatch shows instead of always starting new ones
I used to think rewatching was a waste of time when there is so much I have not seen yet. Last spring I forced myself through 9 new series in 3 months and by the end I could not remember half of what happened in most of them. Then I went back and watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for a second run and caught stuff I totally missed the first time, like small bits of foreshadowing in the early episodes. It felt less like killing time and more like actually sitting with a story. Now I keep one rewatch going alongside whatever new show I pick up. Does anyone else do this, or do you just move on to the next thing?
