That $180 refrigerant scale I cheaped out on finally bit me in the butt
Last week I was doing a recharging job out in Modesto and my budget scale from Amazon drifted by about 4 ounces. The compressor started sounding rough before I caught it. Ended up having to drain and redo the whole charge, costing me an extra 2 hours and a pissed off customer. Anyone else had a cheap tool fail them on a commercial unit, or am I just unlucky with this one?

Modesto heat plus cheap scale, that checks out. I learned that lesson twice.
