The torque wrench I trusted for 9 years was off the whole time
Was doing a compressor swap last Tuesday in a walk-in cooler and noticed the new unit kept vibrating weird, so I checked everything with my backup wrench and sure enough the old one was running 12 lbs low. That $60 Harbor Freight special did thousands of bolts for me, but now I'm wondering what else I've been getting away with. Anybody else ever find out their go-to tool was lying to them the whole time?
