inDAE have a trick for getting a stuck shutter curtain on a Pentax K1000 to move again without forcing it?
Wait, that actually works? I've got an old Pentax with a sticky curtain I've been babying for years. Might have to try the sunlight trick this weekend.

inI redid a set of foundation plans from 1998 and the difference in line weight alone was like night and day.
My old boss kept a set of 90s blueprints rolled up in the corner as a joke. The line weights were so faint you needed a magnifying glass just to see the property line. It wasn't just about better pens, the whole mindset shifted from just getting it done to making it actually readable for the guys in the field.

inI thought the whole 'wrap your brisket in butcher paper' thing was just a fad, but after my third one came out dry, I gave it a shot.
Foil is for leftovers, not brisket.

inWhen my coworker shared our family stew recipe as her own on social media
Grace's idea to comment is good, but I'd take it a step further. Post a photo of your own with the recipe card, making sure your grandma's handwriting is visible. That way the proof is right there for everyone to see, and she can't really argue with it. It settles the whole thing without you having to say much at all.

inSpent 3 hours chasing a phantom misfire on a 2014 F-150
Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy's F150. He had a tiny crack in a charge pipe and said the same thing, "it's just a little leak." Drove it for a month like that. Then his engine started running super lean and he burned up a piston. Cost him four grand. That "tiny leak" let unmetered air in and the computer couldn't adjust fuel right. So yeah, I'd say it's a big deal.
