Cut a 60 ft oak in a tight yard by tying a $3 pool noodle to my pull rope
Had a removal last Tuesday in a backyard with a fence 4 feet from the trunk, and every time the rope hit the ground it bounced back and smacked the fence, so I zip tied a pool noodle to the last 6 feet and it just flopped over instead. Cheapest fix I've ever done and the fence never got a scratch. Anybody else got dumb little hacks like that for tight drop zones?
