Showerthought: counted 47 rings on the stump of that white oak in Macon and felt a little bad
Took down a white oak behind a house off Vineville last week and counted 47 growth rings at the stump. Took me a minute to realize that tree was standing when I was in grade school, and now it's firewood. What do you all do with the good cookies off a tree like that, keep them or just buck them up?
