Am I the only one who thought that 8,000 year old skeleton in Florida was overhyped until I saw the DNA study
I figured Windover Pond was just another Florida swamp story until a paper came out showing brain tissue survived in those burials from 8,000 years ago. Seeing that they pulled intact DNA and woven fabric from peat that old is what got me, since most sites that age are just stone tools. Has anyone seen the actual fabric pieces at the museum in Titusville, or is it all photos online?
