Bought a $200 online course on starting a blog and it was just recycled YouTube advice

I thought it would have some secret strategies, but it was literally the same stuff you can find for free. The only 'exclusive' thing was a PDF checklist I could have made myself. Anyone know a legit place to learn actual SEO for beginners?

Save your money and just Google the free stuff next time.

Yeah, that's a rough deal. Read a good piece recently that said to skip the courses and just start a blog, then use Google's own free guides. Their Search Central blog breaks things down step by step, which is way better than some checklist.

Two hundred bucks for a PDF? That's insane.
