Found a cheap fix for sticky keys on my laptop
Spilled a little soda on my keyboard last month and three keys were sticking bad, tried isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip and it cleaned them right up. Has anyone else found a weird hack that worked better than expected?

Wait, didn't anyone else try putting their keyboard in the dishwasher? I mean a really old laptop keyboard, not the whole laptop obviously. I took mine apart and put the keys and the rubber layer in the top rack with no soap, just a rinse cycle and air dried for a day. It got all the sticky syrup out from under the keys way better than q-tips did. Idk if it works for newer laptops but my old Dell from 2012 was good as new after that. Maybe it's just me but I feel like people overthink these fixes.

Wait, that's actually wild considering dishwashers hit 140 degrees which can warp the rubber dome sheets.
