Found a quick fix for my blurry RAW photos in Lightroom
I kept getting soft images until I realized I had the sharpening slider set to zero on import. Has anyone else missed a basic setting like that for months before catching it?

Honestly sharpening at zero is a rookie mistake but not the end of the world. Ngl though, in Lightroom you really only want to bump it up a little anyway, too much and your photos look fake and crunchy. Tbh just keep it around 20-30 and you're usually good unless you're pixel peeping.

dude this is such a classic thing tho. it's like when you buy a new TV and spend an hour messing with the brightness settings only to find out the "vivid" mode was off the whole time. we get so used to assuming everything is set up perfectly that we skip the basic stuff. i swear half of my "tech problems" are just me forgetting some default setting i changed months ago and never looked at again. the worst part is when you finally fix it and feel like an idiot for not checking sooner.
