My old way of asking for help online was just yelling into the void
I used to just post a question like 'how do I fix this' on random forums with zero details and get mad when no one answered. Then last month I was trying to fix my old lawnmower and spent three hours getting nowhere. I finally made a post here with the model number, a picture of the carburetor, and exactly what I'd already tried. Someone from Ohio gave me the right answer in like 20 minutes. It was a tiny gasket I missed. Now I always give way more info upfront. What's the best detail you've ever included that got you a perfect answer?

What about including the exact error code you got?

Is the error code even that important though? Like sometimes it's just a random glitch lol
