Question about my truck battery draining after a quick jump start

Last Tuesday my F-150 wouldn't turn over, so I jumped it with my buddy's compact car. It fired right up, but then the battery light flickered for the next two days and now it's dead again in my driveway. I checked the terminals and they're clean, no corrosion. Could a jump from a smaller vehicle mess with the alternator or just leave the battery undercharged? Anyone else had this happen after a quick jump and what did you do to fix it?
