inShoutout to the guy who told me I was "fixing it wrong" in front of my customer
Maybe it's just me but that customer sounds like they were looking for an excuse to back out. A random guy tapping on your panel shouldn't be enough to lose $400 unless they already had doubts. Idk, seems like the real problem was the customer being flaky, not some dude who probably doesn't know the difference between Bondo and bond paper.

Wait til you find a thrift puzzle with a half smoked joint inside. True story.

inJust found out a 5 foot gap in the corner can save you 30 minutes on leveling
The gap trick actually helped keep my line straight if anything. You just have to make sure your reference point is solid before you start filling in.

inThe day a welder in Gary, Indiana told me to stop chasing the perfect bead
Gary's actually in northwest Indiana, not where most people think it is.

inShoutout to that little salon in Portland that fixed my shears for free
Wait, "sharpened my thinning shears on the spot for free"? That's insane. I can't even get a guy to look at my kitchen scissors for less than twenty bucks around here. Did she just pull out a stone and go to work right there in the shop? That's some real old school service right there, most places would at least charge for the time. I'd honestly feel bad and have to buy something small like a comb or a brush on the way out.
