Local body shops rushing estimates worry me
Everyone around here seems happy with the new shops that do quick digital estimates. I've seen three cars in my area come back with problems because the scans missed frame damage. We need to slow down and check things by hand to do it right. It's better to take a little more time than to have unhappy customers later.

Remember when my neighbor got his truck back from a quick fix place? They missed a bent control arm because their scan said it was fine. He found out when the tire wore down to the cords in two months. That digital estimate cost him another grand to fix right.

Those "quick digital estimates" sound like the shops are racing for a prize! It's crazy that three cars around you came back with hidden frame issues. Maybe they should win a trophy for fastest incomplete job instead. Rushing through a scan just to get the car out the door is how you get those unhappy customers later. Taking a little extra time with a hands-on check isn't a delay, it's the whole job! I'd rather wait for a repair that's actually done right.
