Watched a rear quarter panel go from golf ball to glass in 2 hours with one change
Last Tuesday I was blocking out a dented quarter panel on a 2019 Civic and my mentor walked over and moved my sanding block from a 45 degree angle to almost flat against the panel. In 2 hours the surface went from wavy and pitted to slick enough that I could see the shop lights reflecting in a straight line, all because the pressure was spread across the whole block instead of digging into one spot. Any of you guys have a small technique change like that which made a huge difference in your finish work?
