TIL spending $40 on a decent flare nut wrench saved me an hour of cussing
Had to swap a brake line on a 2010 F-150 last week near Tulsa... kept using my cheap adjustable wrench and kept rounding the nut off. Finally stopped, drove to NAPA for a proper set of GearWrench flare wrenches. Took me maybe 20 minutes after that. Anybody else stubborn about buying specialty tools until they cost you time?

Drove an hour for a brake line replacement once and came back with a crushed nut and a sore hand. Had to borrow my neighbor's proper flare wrench and felt like a fool for not buying one years ago. Now I keep a set in my truck toolbox and another in the garage. Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way.
