Pinched wire in a rudder actuator, 6 hours of my life gone
Chasing a intermittent rudder fault on a Cessna 172, found it was a wire pinched under the bracket that only acted when the panels got warm. It took me 6 hours to catch something a continuity check should've found in 20. Anyone else burned a whole shift on a gremlin that only shows up after heat soak?
