inA customer called out my drawer slide placement and I actually listened
Did your drawer bounce happen right away or did it get worse over time? I'm wondering if the 5/8 placement was only a problem because of your specific face overhang or if it's always a bad idea. Also curious if you changed your slide positioning jig after that or if you just measure each time now lol.

inThat tile saw I rented from Home Depot nearly cost me a finger
Did the rental place give you any paperwork on tool safety when you picked it up? I always ask for the checklist before I walk out, because some of those guys just hand you the keys and wave you off without a second glance. Last time I rented a floor nailer, the guard was held on with a zip tie, and the kid behind the counter just shrugged when I pointed it out. Makes you wonder if they even inspect the stuff between rentals, or if they just hose off the dirt and call it good.

inPro tip: I spent 8 years creaming butter and sugar wrong
I actually read about this in a baking blog a few months ago. They said the whole "room temperature butter" thing is a myth that got passed down for years. The writer tested it with cold butter straight from the fridge and got way better results. She said warm butter basically melts and flattens out all those tiny air pockets you need for fluffiness. I tried it after that and yeah my cookies came out way better. It's wild how one little change can fix everything.

inA vendor in Austin told me to ditch the generator and go solar
Oh man, I made that exact switch last spring for my popup taco stand. The upfront cost stung a bit, but my monthly electric bill dropped about $180 once I got the panels dialed in. Just make sure you size your battery bank right or you'll be cursing on cloudy days.
