Swapped my multimeter habits after a 2am wiring snag on a CRJ

I used to trust the beep on continuity mode for everything, but a 2am snag on a CRJ where a 7 foot wire tested fine until I wiggled the connector made me switch to measuring voltage drop across the suspect run, so how many of you still just rely on that tone instead of chasing real resistance?

That 7 foot wiggle got me too, now I always check drops on long runs.
