Why does nobody talk about how pin pullers eat your wrists after 5 sets

I did 9 connector re-pins on a CRJ-700 yesterday in Fresno and by the sixth pull my hand was cramping so bad I had to switch to a ratcheting puller that left burrs, then spent 20 minutes chasing stray wire strands, so has anyone else found a grip method that doesn't wreck your palm on high-cycle pulls?
